HA:TFELT Summertime (Nutty Remix) (Feat. snzae)
Happy 19th anniversary to Wonder Girls!
Wonder Girls were formed in 2007, widely recognized as one of the most influential and pioneering acts of second-generation K-pop. Originally debuting with a retro-inspired pop sound, the group blended catchy hooks, strong choreography, and throwback concepts influenced by Motown, ’60s soul, and ’80s synthpop, which quickly set them apart from their peers. Their early hits like “Tell Me,” “So Hot,” and especially “Nobody” became national phenomena in Korea, with “Nobody” turning into one of the first viral K-pop songs globally and even charting on the Billboard Hot 100 — a historic first for a Korean group at the time.
Throughout multiple lineup changes (including Sunye, Yeeun/Ha:tfelt, Sohee, Sunmi, Yubin, Hyerim, and former member Hyuna), the Wonder Girls continuously reinvented themselves, later transitioning from dance-focused idol pop to a band format where members played instruments, culminating in the critically praised Reboot album (2015), which embraced authentic ’80s synthwave and live performance credibility.
They were also among the first K-pop acts to actively promote in the United States, touring with the Jonas Brothers and releasing English versions of their music, helping lay groundwork for the international expansion later groups would benefit from.
Known for their vintage aesthetics, memorable melodies, and cultural impact, Wonder Girls are often credited as trailblazers who helped shape modern K-pop’s global ambitions, and despite disbanding in 2017, they remain iconic for both their chart success and their artistic evolution.

it's rare in this age of streaming to have full length studio albums of not only several songs, but long songs (aka more than 3 mins, since songs are shorter now).
I've linked my fave b-side of each album.
Having a full, complete album of diverse songs that can take the listener on a whole ass journey is a special accomplishment.
And it's rare that EVERY single song hits. (the phrase "no-skip" has been OVERUSED and MISUSED; just bc they're your fave doesn't mean you can't critically review whether it's a good song, or whether it's actually your TASTE. e.g. i like svt but i dont like all their songs. PLS, YOURE ALLOWED TO DISLIKE THINGS.)
nothing hits the same as hearing "and the wonder girls, we're back!" at the start of the wonder girls hit song 'i feel you'. nothing.
