So I FINALLY got to see the Ghostbusters. And thought share few thoughts about it:
-Okay holy fuck this the movie we need but not deserve.
-it is so well shot, edited, it has awesome soundtrack and actors and everything
-speaking of soundtrack, I’ve seen many people hate the new version of the theme song by Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott. Like???? Why???? I understand if doesn’t send the same feeling as the original to some people but??? Why hate it SO much???¿¿¿?? My opinion is that it isn’t FOB’s best song (I can’t say anything about Elliott, because I’m not familiar with their work) but it’s not the worst either? I know it can’t appeal to everyone but it simply isn’t *that* bad??? (But I don’t have a very big word to this thing, because even I grew up seeing the movies many times, they didn’t change me as a person and I watched them MANY years later the release so I didn’t view it as an masterpiece)
-the characters are well and believably written. They are fun and good people.
-but here comes almost the only problem to me in this movie. The villain. Like, his motive wasn’t that good and he wasn’t the deep??? But of course I’m very tired atm and jut got home so I haven’t analysed this so fell or I missed something. Or I just need to let this sink in.
-applause for all people who worked on this. You are amazing.
-there is simply too much good in this movie to me to give In conclusion: Go see it. Go see it again. It won’t waste your money or time. Buy the goddamn dvd and show it to your younger siblings/children/their children and to every child. They need this movie. I know I will.
