hello :') thank you so much for your recommendation! do you recommend reading the winner's trilogy first? i've had that series on my radar for a while!

You definitely can read the Winner’s Trilogy first, but it’s not necessary to enjoy The Midnight Lie! I think it just depends what you’re looking for, whether you want to commit to a series or go for what is currently a standalone (at least until the sequel comes out) 😊 I hope you love whatever you decide to go with!

Things that make me happy, in no particular order: getting so into a book that the world just disappears around me, cuddles with my puppy, accomplishing writing goals, waking up to rain and fog, and not having to set an alarm in the mornings.

Hello! :) What's the best book you have read lately? I've been loving the Avatar novels (Kyoshi, Yangchen). They re-spark my joy for the TV show! Currently I'm reading The Court of Miracles by K. Grant. Have you read it? It's a historical fantasy set in 1820s Paris. I love the historical city setting and the concept of different guilds (e.g. thieves guild). I think the book has the potential to become a new favourite of mine. :) Have a good and peaceful day!

Hello! I've heard of The Court of Miracles but haven't picked it up, you may have just convinced me to add it to my TBR!

The best book I read recently was Divine Rivals. It's a perfect book to cozy up with in the first days of fall; it reads like historical fiction, but with fantasy elements and tons of heart. I loved it. ❤️
