Just something I would like to add Robot doesn’t act like he feels any sort of bond with Tyrell in the arcade. So that suggests it wasn’t him in the rwb scene. Also it doesn’t make sense for Robot to be affected by Tyrells words anyway, because Robot lacks self awareness he doesn’t think about how his revolution is really about the anger he feels towards his father. So why would he relate to Tyrell’s poem @knownoshamc

ohh yes good point!!! although I think Mr Robot wouldn’t really be affected cause he is not that emotional about it, I think he definitely knows Edward was a part of why, just elects to ignore it. xD but still, he wouldn’t care that this was about Tyrell’s father, like he didn’t see it as a good reason. but it’s so true, RW Elliot wouldn’t shoot Tyrell, cause yes he really connected with him there

Omg right?? I was so excited :/ the ‘kinda hug’ gave me hope for the rest of the season lol but we’ll see what the finale is like on that front I guess.

I wonder if it’s because Robot is usually protecting Elliot either from a dangerous or stressful situation, or hiding something from him. But Tyrell’s poem is not something Elliot needs to be shielded from, so Elliot is able to remember it @knownoshamc

I think Mr Robot believes that if Elliot knows more about Tyrell (that bit about his father, making him more human and close to him, that he loves him and all that), could potentially lead to Elliot getting attached to him (as if he isn’t already) and Mr Robot thinks that it won’t end well, so he protects him from it. But to me it is again that theory that somehow both Mr Robot and Elliot were present in that moment, both of them remembering pieces of it, but neither of them the entire scene (unless they work together maybe?). as you’ve mentioned, both of them remember ‘red wheelbarrow’. Mr Robot knew it had a meaning to Tyrell, but he doesn’t remember what he told Tyrell there (also it’s interesting cause for Mr Robot to know an op after something that meant a lot to Tyrell, is rather sentimental for him) and Elliot only remembered the poem after and probably not the entire thing.

god i was so scared that was what was going on because i’m not fucking with that.

Well we were let to believe from the trailer that Tyrell would be in the final, so of course we are going to be disappointed
