It was MEANT to be just simple field work   —   nothing too high risk   ,   but the area in Octo Canyon he’d needed to go to was alarmingly close to a pipe way leading to Inkopolis Square   .   He’d ended up being CAUGHT AND RESTRAINED by an Agent   ,   shoved down onto his knees with his wrists tied behind his back and being hounded with questions   .   The Octoling GLARED but kept his tongue in check   ,   he had to be careful here   —   if he let slip of his profession there was high chance he wouldn’t be making it out of this encounter   .

Urick audibly complains to himself as he awaits the other elite that had been assigned as his mission partner for a surface raid. As much as he didn’t want to admit, he was a little out of practice. The training would offer a nice enrichment to get him back into the groove of things before taking up a post again. He wouldn’t want to fail his King after all.. better to be sure he still has it than to die an embarrassingly avoidable death due to lack of recent training.
