Central Florida Data Boot Camps
Once again, #SpaceApps is hosting a virtual Women in Data Boot Camp the Friday (April 22) before Space Apps weekend. This year, they’re also encouraging locations to host their own data boot camps, encouraging participants to develop their skills, connect women with hackathons, and more!
Tampa Hackerspace is hosting their data boot camp on Sunday, April 17 from 12:30-5 p.m. They’ll have several women speak about data and space, then have sessions where participants can practice skills, form project teams for the following weekend, and more!
Orlando is not having a Space Apps specific data boot camp. However, Orlando Tech Week (April 18-24) has incorporated Space Apps and will be hosting many tech events throughout the week. As a part of this, weVENTURE will be hosting a 1-hour Women Who Code session (FREE) at The Iron Yard in downtown Orlando.
