Prepping for the hackathon...
Full disclosure - this isn't us. At least not yet.
We're doing a hackathon this coming weekend, from June 15-17 for 48 hours straight. For those that don't know what a hackathon is, see the Wikipedia entry here. But as a short summary, it's where developers get together for a short time to create new innovative technologies. And we're hoping that we create some seriously interesting travel technologies.
We're pretty happy to be collaborating with Gurron Lab's #ulpifkohackathon, who did these a few months back. They seem pretty psyched about it as well, as evidenced by CEO Ulpian Morina's blog entry. And I can't think of better mentors to work with - so if you're a developer and you want to be seriously challenged - show your interest here.
We'll have some more news soon - so stay tuned! But follow this blog during the event for more information, follow us on Twitter at The Travelst, or follow hashtag #hackthetravelst.
