This is a promise from Allah through His Prophet ﷺ — that when we let go of something (such as a sin, a bad habit, or a bad behaviour) for the sake of Allah, and not because we’re embarrassed because we got caught by the people, then Allah will give us something better than what we have left for His sake.
And notice that the Prophet ﷺ didn’t say that when you let go something that is haram, Allah will replace it with something halal that is equal in value — rather, Allah will replace it with something that is much *better* than what you have left. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
🔵 “Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allah Almighty, but that Allah will replace it with something better for you.” [Musnad Ahmad 23074 | Graded Sahih by Al-Arna’ut]
This is a promise from Allah that continues until the end of time. Allah says:
🔵 “˹This is˺ the promise of Allah. ˹And˺ Allah never fails in His promise. But most people do not know.” [Surah Ar-Room 30: 6]
So let go of the sins / bad habits / haram relationships that we have, and trust Allah that He will replace them all with that which is even better.
