Crowley's son with the Human. They only had one egg together, but Crowley was so overjoyed he sobbed for days afterwards and refused to leave his nest for any reason. He became extremely broody and proud, making sure his nest was always on standby for when his darling little chick hatched.
He is currently holding his father's mask (Crowley's masquerade beak mask) and curled up in his father's coat. Crowley is now a consistent annoyance to the other staff, constantly talking about his precious chick. Crowley also obsessively carries his chick around with him on campus, intentionally interrupting classes just to show off his chick to the other staff members.
(I Headcanon the chick's name is Jayden, as a play off of Crowley's name and Jays being Corvids like Crows and Ravens, probably closer to a Steller's Jay. Crow-ley and Jay-den, both birds and both corvids)
I’ve been kind of wondering about the Staff +Hades) as Grandparents to the Human’s kids. What are they like? (Great Great whatever Grandpa Hades?)
Trein is an Excellent grandfather, but does show a clear preference and greater patience for the girls. He is a girl dad and he adores the little ladies that his precious cub has brought into the world. You will see him sitting while braiding their hair and helping show them how to style their hair in different ways. He is the ultimate girl-grandpa and will have extreme patience with them. He is less patient with the boys and more strict with them because he is so sensitive to any of the girls getting teased (gently) by their male siblings/half-siblings. All the kids listen to him most of the time and his voice is just soothing enough for nap-time stories.
Divus is already a territorial male towards younglings. His precious Puppy's young? He is exceedingly territorial and will not hesitate to put the Harem yanderes in their place. He is the swimming instructor and ensures all the species can swim even if they won't be swimming often. He is also an incredible napping spot and will allow them to nap along his seal form. Any time the Human seems overwhelmed or stressed, he steps in as the fun grandpa and keeps the babies amused so the Human can nap.
Vargas is naturally compelled to be protective and territorial of any young in his herd. The fact that there is a literal herd of younglings puts him into overdrive. The ungulate species (centaur, cervitaur, Satyr/Fawn) will gather around him and go on perimeter patrols with him. Even if he doesn't exactly understand what it means to be a grandparent figure to them, he will still try and be very protective of them.
Crowley never sees the younglings as grown-up no matter how old they are. He is constantly trying to incubate and protect them. He has always wanted chicks of his own, so he gravitates towards Vil and Neige's chicks to an extreme. He eventually gets as bad as Vil when it comes to trying to take and keep the chicks. It never works out well for him because the actual fathers are FURIOUS Crowley dare to take them. Before they hatch, Crowley attempts to steal and incubate all of the egg species (Harpy, Merfolk, Naga, ect) at least once. He tried once to take the Dragon Hatchlings- as they hatched near immediately after they were delivered due to how much the Human loves them- and he almost became a deep-fried bird.
Sam is more of a great-uncle than a grandfather. Does he spoil every single one of those kids? Yes. Yes he does. He is the fun and chill great-uncle who is happy to entertain the niblings any time he is around them. As one of the very few species that has to cook food, he can also cook for them and make one heck of a meal. The kids all know Grunkle Sam is one of the best baby-sitters because he is funny and fun. Sam will not hesitate to kill anyone who looks at them and he will fight to the death to protect them.
Hades is the most protective out of all the "Grandparents". Even though the young are half-Human, they still soothe his addiction an extreme amount. He has seen what other species are willing to do to Humans and Half-Humans, so he refuses to let that happen to any of these ones. If he had his way, they would all live on the Isle of Woe where he can protect and shelter them from the less than friendly beasts of the world. He is EXTREMELY protective of Charon- Idia's kid- and will enter his Hellbeast form if anything threatens the younglings or the Human.
Ambrose is honored to be included. He loved a Human woman before their extinction and has never really recovered from losing her. To be around the Half-Humans soothes his heart and soul to the point he is almost mute with tears. He will cry the first time he gets to hold one of the little ones and from that day on he has a "World's best Grandpa!" mug. He does make being a Grandpa to the Half-Humans his entire personality for a bit so long as he is allowed to interact with them. They warm his heart and make him feel like he has a family again.
Friendly reminder; these two are constantly bantering and competing, but if push comes to shove, Ambrose and Crowley will always back each other. Crowley dreads the day Ambrose passes away, living a shorter life due to being half-Fae. Ambrose does not have any children and his long line of family will end with him.

Canine species have severe allergies to Chocolate, Caffeine, Grapes, Onions (of all kinds, including shallots as well), cherries, and overly salty foods.
Jack in particular despises the smell of onions and will even cover his sensitive nose so he doesn't have to smell them. Grapes (and raisins) make Jack start dry heaving and will even cause him to become extremely ill if he accidentally ingests one, same with cherries. Jack doesn't like overly salty things and has issues with salt-water as a result. The taste is unappealing and he doesn't like how thirsty salty things make him.
Ruggie does GREAT with caffeine despite how hard he will crash when he has caffeine. Ruggie is also able to consume almost anything without negative effects other than hair and horns. Grapes are not great for Gnolls, but they can still eat them if starving. Ruggie doesn't love the smell of onions and they somewhat upset his stomach, but he can still eat some if he needs to. He would rather not have to eat things he isn't overly fond of, but a starving Gnoll will eat whatever they can find.
Sebek loves caffeine but has a hard crash when he ingests it. It gives him zoomies and he will be hyped until the moment he crashes, to which he will sleep for an extended period of time. Unlike the other canine species, Sebek can withstand salt quiet well due to his Fae-Raiju heritage and doesn't have as extreme of an aversion to salts.
Harpies don't do well with caffeine, as it can make them enter a state of pure panic, though they can still somewhat ingest more caffeine than other species (like werewolves and centaurs). Onions and Garlic are not great for them, as they can cause anemia and even liver failure if ingested in large amounts. They also need to avoid certain fruit seeds, as they contain cyanide and can kill the Harpies in large amounts. Chocolate isn't great for them, nor is dairy or Alcohol, but they can still ingest them in small amounts.
Neige has a particular dislike for apples, having almost choked on one and now avoids apples as a rule of thumb due to his past experience.
Crowley LOVES alcohol, though it isn't great for Harpies. As a Fae Harpy, Crowley has a greater resistance to alcohol and it doesn't affect him as much as it would impact non-Fae Harpies.
Vil has a strong dislike for Fatty foods. He is more partial to sweet foods and nectar due to his Hummingbird heritage, but heavily fatty foods nearly choke Vil when he ingests them and he becomes rather bloated if he ingests too much.
Most feline species share allergens and have similar foods that they avoid when it comes to what they ingest, of course, they all have different levels of how much they can ingest based on age and size. Caffeine isn't great for them, but they can still ingest more than the canine species or Avian species. Onions (as well as leeks, chives, shallots, and garlic) are not great for the feline species and can lead to anemia due to the potential damage onions (and other onion-like plants) can cause on their red blood-cells. Citrus can cause intense gastrointestinal upset in feline species.
Che'nya LOVES caffeine and has built up quite a tolerance to it due to it being so prevalent in the Queendom of Roses. He will often eat coffee beans when he can find them.
Trein loves his tea and will continue to drink it even if the caffeine in it isn't great for him. He also has a fondness for onions, so he will occasionally eat them when he is craving them.
Leona won't eat any vegetables or fruit unless the Human asks him, and he isn't particularly interested in caffeine, so he leans far more into a carnivore only diet.
Jasper likes citrus despite the fact that it sometimes upsets his stomach. He knows his limits, but loves the sharp tang of citrus fruits.
Grim is immune to most ailments caused by food. He can ingest all foods most feline species cannot and can even ingest rocks and tree-bark to fill up his stomach. If he had a choice, he would rather a meat heavy diet that includes large amounts of fish.
Most of the Ungulate species (excepting Kelpies) are unable to eat large amounts of meat. It doesn't process well in their stomachs and can result in bloat as well as death if too much is consumed. They can eat meat in smaller amounts, but large amounts of meat does not do well for the ungulate species. Fruits with pits are also not great for the Ungulate species, as many of the pits in fruit contain toxins they cannot digest.
Alistair doesn't like heavy meats, more partial to lighter meats like chicken when he does choose to partake. He also is fond of white-fish because they are not too heavy on his stomach.
Riddle is partial to Caffeine in small doses, such as teas, but he does not like coffee as it is too strong for him. He also is more leaning towards white-fish and white-meats over red-meat.
Ace and Deuce can eat almost anything, but Garlic and Onions can cause gastrointestinal upset and can even result in illness. Ace is well known for eating EVERYTHING, so he has to visit Crewel quite often to have his stomach pumped because he ate something he wasn't supposed to. Deuce is better about avoiding foods that are bad for him, but he does love to consume eggs on the regular and will occasionally get Salmonella from eating raw eggs.
Silver does not like meats of any kind. He can eat meats, but he is far more on the scale of herbivore than others and will avoid eating meats if he can. He is more partial to fruits and veggies, even to tree-bark in a pinch. He will eat meat if offered by Malleus, The Human, or Lilia, but he is not overly fond of meats.
Vargas has a much more omnivorous diet compared to the other ungulates and will eat meats if offered. He has an extreme sensitivity to corn and will avoid it as it doesn't digest well in his stomach compared to other vegetables.
Nymphs vary in foods that they can and cannot consume. Most foods are safe for Nymphs to eat depending on their various elements. There is no one item that is considered deadly among all nymphs as the elements they are changes what is overly safe for them to consume.
Fire Nymphs are unable to consume anything too juicy or full of liquid. Grapes are the juiciest thing that a fire Nymph can consume. Too much liquid and the Fire Nymph risks harming their cores and potentially smothering their cores. Drier foods and salt cured foods are better for Flame Nymphs. Wood is also an acceptable food that they can consume as it is more fuel for their fires. Rollo is particularly fond of grapes.
Water Nymphs can consume things that are not too drying, so they tend to avoid dried or cured foods. Juicy foods such as watermelon, Oranges, and other liquid filled foods are best for water Nymphs. Cater in particular is a fresh-water Lake Nymph, so he doesn't do well with salts, but salt-water Nymphs are able to endure large amounts of salt in their diets and in their water.
Plant Nymphs are fairly capable of consuming most things, from rotting food, to plants that are heavy in cyanide, there is little that cannot be consumed by a plant nymph. Pure toxins and pesticides can cause damage to them which can impact what they can consume, but is not that large of a risk for them.
Air Nymphs are more partial to lighter foods, less meats and dense meals. There is not much an Air Nymph cannot consume, but they are often able to consume most foods around them. Kida in particular is more fond of plants such as mint, peppermint, and other herbs. He is not overly fond of meat.
Genies are technically Magic Nymphs and they do not need to eat any foods to sustain themselves as they subsist off of residual magic other species let off. Kalim has a fondness for eating and drinking anything he can, as he simply enjoys the sensation and act of eating.
Most Merfolk have varying foods that they can consume, primarily piscivores and frequently eat other fish given where they live. Most can eat foods that can be found in the ocean and will prefer those foods over what can be found on land. Many merfolk have sensitivities towards red-meats but it also depends on the species as well. Caffeine isn't always great for them to consume, but they still enjoy the foods that they have.
Jade and Floyd are able to eat red-meats easier than many other Merfolk as they have adjusted to life on land well. Jade is overly fond of mushrooms which most Merfolk cannot stand, making him unusual among Merfolk like himself. Floyd is primarily a carnivore and will go out of his way to try different meats over vegetables or fruits that he finds.
Azul is a caffeine FIEND and will go out of his way to find caffeine to consume, be it teas or coffee. Azul is not overly fond of red-meats and is more partial to poultry than he is to the red-meats Floyd drags back to Octavinelle with him.
Driders cannot STAND peppermint, garlic, lavender, and citrus. The scents often drive them away and can cause gastrointestinal issues if consumed or put into their meals. Most Driders are carnivore and insectivores.
Rook will tolerate small doses of Lavender, Citrus, and Peppermint as Vil is partial to these smells, but in large amounts they will make him physically ill if he is around them. Garlic is akin to poison to Rook and he will do all he can to avoid garlic or garlicy foods that he is presented with. He will willingly consume garlic if it was put into a meal by the Human despite the fact it will make him violently ill. He will continue to eat this garlic infused food so long as it is the Human who offers it to him. He finds nothing more beautiful than consuming the food that was made for him even if it is heavily laced with poison. He is a simp first and foremost.
Bat Fae- and even regular Bat species- are not big into eating fatty meats, but otherwise do not have many foods that they cannot consume. Vampire Bats in particular just need to ensure that they consume blood from other species so they can obtain certain vitamins that their bodies cannot synthesize from the other foods they consume.
Lilia in particular is picky based on texture and less on the contents of their foods. Fluffy foods (like marshmallows) are detestable to Lilia, where he prefers more chewy foods over flaky or intensely squishy foods. Lilia is more fond of foods that are red in coloration as they remind him of blood. He is also very big into caffeine and alcohols as they soothe him and almost pacify him when he consumes them.
Dragons do not have any particular food sensitivities. Preference for foods is based off of the personal tastes of the Dragon themselves.
Malleus likes cold and sweet treats. Frozen fruits, frozen drinks, things of that nature. He is less partial to large meals as he rarely has anyone to actually share those meals with. This is- in part- why he adores what the Human cooks because it draws in others so he is able to have meals with a group instead of by himself like he is often relegated to doing.
Teumessian Foxes do not do well with caffeine, chocolate, or Grapes/raisins. Caffeine can easily overwork their hearts and make them collapse if they ingest too much. They also struggle to digest chocolate as their bodies cannot properly process chocolates. Most Teumessian Foxes are omnivores, leaning closer to carnivores.
Robin has a particular preference for lean meats; rabbit, poultry, fish. Robin will partake in caffeine if available, but he walks a fine line between consuming too much and consuming a safe amount.
Shinigami don't need to eat as much or as often as most of the other species. A lot of Shinigami don't really eat foods beyond the sparse and dry foods that can be found in Tartarus. The Shrouds are unique in that most of them have adjusted to a calorie heavy diet due to the abundant food that can be found in Twisted Wonderland. Naturally, most Shinigami do not have this privilege as they live almost exclusively in Tartarus.
Idia likes snacky food but rarely finishes any meals he has. He will pick at his food and eat what he is given, but he leans more towards liquids and fruit juices over heavy meals.
Ortho has a few more sensitivities than other Shinigami due to the many injuries he sustained while being mauled by his Feral ancestor. Smaller foods, steamed veggies, and lighter meats are better for Ortho as they don't bloat his stomach or put pressure against his damaged organs. He has an artificial lung, half of his small intestine is artificial, and his stomach is smaller due to losing a portion of it during the attack. He has more frequent meals than his brother, but they are lesser in size so his body can properly digest the foods he eats.
does crowley ever wish he had more eggs to brood over? he's so excited about his human chick, and i get that that is very much addiction-related (and he has a fascination and collection of human remains stashed away somewhere) but did he also want some of his own little harpy babies sometime in the past too?

He has longed for most of his life to be a father to his own chicks. He sees himself in a fatherly role at NRC, but it isn't the same as actually being a father in his eyes. He does have several false eggs- made out of Sapphire and Obsidian- that he has kept safe for centuries in his nest, and he occasionally gets broody over them due to his built-up frustration and desire to be a father. He has cried several times over the fact his gemstone eggs will never hatch and has considered stealing eggs from other Fae Harpies/Sirens to raise as his own. Despite his want to be a father, he understands that he is far too busy with being a Headmage to actually raise and care for his own young.
Crowley knows he can't care for newly hatched young, so he has become exceedingly attached to the Human- given they are old enough to not need constant supervision- as his chick instead. The Human has no one in Twisted Wonderland; no family, no siblings, no parents, no cousins, no one. He sees this lonely Human with no family as his chance to have his own family. He wants to take the place of their family and make them part of his own family instead.
He has even considered moving The Human from Ramshackle to his own nest to be broody for a little while.
I forgot is Crowly classified a night fae? Since Crowley is a fae harpy I can see him trying to use the "I have centuries of wisdom as well as experience" card to get close to the chicks the Hae!Human has with Vil (and possibly Neige if were going down the poly/harem route). How does he behave during the pregnancy(ies)? How exactly would he going about trying to get "grandpa privilege"? I can see him wanting to do their equivalent of a baby shower. I also feel like if the human specified wanting alone with the little ones, and partner (like 4 weeks) to ajust to parenthood he'd show up the next day at the ass crack of dawn 🤣. 🌻 anon
Crowley is 100% convinced he is the grandfather of the Harpy chicks and will go above and beyond to get time with 'his Grandchicks' whenever possible. He will even attempt to brood over the eggs before they hatch, crying that he just "wants to be the best grandfather!" whenever Vil chases him off of the nest.
The Crow is crowing and caws to the little peeping sounds the chicks make. The Monochrome chick and the Tie-dye chick actually warm up to Crowley the quickest and he takes them under his wing. He may even see about teaching either one to be the next Headmage of Night Raven College. He adores having the little chicks to take care of.
The moment he hears his darling Little Chick is pregnant is the moment he goes full "I'm the grandfather and I have a right to take care of my child!" Even if the Human wants Divus or Papa Hades to fill that role instead. Crowley will show up and appear everywhere he can to insert himself into the situation or show his 'Support' to his Chick.
If it is the Malleus route, he will scream about his 'right' as Grandfather to brood over the Dragon eggs and almost gets toasted by three overly protective Dragons- Maleficent, Malefica, and Malleus- who don't want this strange Crow Fae near the Royal Clutch. They may consider allowing it if the Human asks, but knowing how Dragon eggs behave, they won't accept magic or love from Crowley to help them grow. The Clutch want Malleus or The Human, but it does help Crowley feel important.
In the Harem route, Crowley is always demanding the right to randomly stop by the various households to check in on "his grandchildren". He is an absolute pain about harping on the others to ensure his Little Chick is treated well during pregnancies. He LOVES holidays where he can be around the veritable Flock of half-Human children and it brings tears to his eyes to see such a thing. He will play the Grandfather role as best as he can but odds are Lilia will still be the more responsible one out of the two.
I also have another question for you. You know that pet birds can turn into pluckers when they're neglected, right? Is this also a problem for Harpies and sirens, too?

The simple answer is 'yes' they do begin to over-preen and pluck their own feathers in frustration.
In the case of Vil, he is doing it because he believes that his feathers must somehow not be impressive enough to draw the attention of the Human that he adores so much. He is trying to grow newer shinier feathers to draw their eye and is getting upset that it isn't working. He will begin to self-destruct thinking he is somehow too ugly or not good enough for the Human to even give the time of day. Rook- noticing this behavior from Vil- will immediately step in and do everything he can to prevent his boon companion from ruining his follicles by plucking his feathers. This does mean Rook will be seeking out the Human and encouraging the Human to help Vil preen pin feathers or even just touch the Harpy's feathers to calm him down enough to stop this behavior from the peacock Harpy.
In the case of Neige, he is plucking himself because he wants to give the feathers to the Human and is willing to destroy his own follicles to keep supplying as many feathers as possible to the Human. Ambrose- who is a very good guardian to all his students- will pick up quickly on the behavior exhibited by Neige and will approach Crowley on the matter to see if they can't get the Human to get Neige to stop this destructive behavior. It is bad enough the two older harpies agree to a kind of visitation to NRC or RSA to allow Neige time with the Human to keep him from harming himself with this behavior.
Crowley and Ambrose will occasionally pluck their own feathers in stress from simply having to deal with their respective schools. Ambrose is actually a half-fae Snowy Owl harpy who is 1/4 Human, his other half being part Human, part regular Owl Harpy. Both Crowley and Ambrose find themselves plucking far less when in the presence of the Human as there is a kind of soothing effect the Human has on their anxious minds that allows them to calm down enough to recognize their own destructive behaviors. They even take comfort in being around one another because of Ambrose's 1/4th Human genetics. despite the fact Snowy Owls and Crows are natural enemies. They take that natural behavior as more competition than actual violence between them. The presence of the Human while they are stressed allows them to return to a peaceful mindset and work through things productively.
Many Harpies and Sirens would similarly pluck themselves when ignored by their mates or overly stressed from outside factors.
Can Crowley tell that HAE Human is starting to prefer Divus? If so how does that make him feel?
He is well aware the Human has a preference towards Divus and he hates it with a burning passion. He despises how hurt he feels that the Human has grown so close to the Selkie.
Crowley has always been a collector, from Human artifacts to Human remains, Crowley has adored and collected anything Human he can get his hands on. He even attempted to collect a Human for himself. He kept her isolated from everyone other than him to the point she had a mental breakdown and began behaving violently towards him. Papa Hades caught wind of this mistreatment to that Human and confiscated her from Crowley. Crowley did attempt to fight the elder Shinigami to keep his Human but lost within moments against the elder.
He sees The Human of Night Raven as his last chance to collect a Human of his own. He has lived a busy life and is not exactly considered 'a catch' to the Fae ladies, so he desperately wants The Human to be his little chick. Given his age and his eccentric behavior, he fully believes The Human is his last and only chance to be a 'father'. In his eyes, The Human seemingly choosing Divus is equal to stealing Crowley's one and only egg and his only chance to be a Father.
