Since it's Father's Day at the time of typing this, how would the babies celebrate Father's Day? For example, the peachicks trying to make a crown for Vil out of their shed feathers, or Mailk having the Human's help to cook something for Kalim, or how about Petal making a flower crown and necklace for Riddle.

Impisa begs The Human to help her make a good feast for Ruggie, doing everything she can to make food for her papa whom she loves so much. She snacks throughout cooking on the food and Ruggie- because he knows she is trying to surprise him- keeps his distance and acts surprised so Impisa feels like she has succeeded in getting him a gift and surprising him with it. They spend all day playing chase and rough-housing.

Vil's chicks actually surprise him on set while he is filming. He completely forgot it was even Father's day, but the chicks didn't and Eric didn't. Eric is the primary baby sitter, but the entire shoot stops the second any of the producers notice the chicks and begin cooing over them. They are quick to swarm Vil and cuddle into him, wishing him a happy Father's day. No more filming gets done as Vil spends the rest of the day with is babies. The other actors, producers, and directors are all head-over-heels for the little chicks and indulge the tiny terrors any time they want something.

Selene is making drawings, cards, and food, for Lilia. She is thrilled to show him what she can do and he is happy to praise her for it. She already spends so much time with her Papa, she is just happy to spend time with him. Lilia is equally happy to have so much time with his little girl, he will dress up in a tutu and have a tea-party with his little girl. The whole day and night is just for Lilia to spend time with his daughter and it is clear he loves her all the more for it.

The Royal Clutch don't know it is Father's day, but they are always ready to bother their father and hang off of his tail/wings no matter what time it is or what he is doing. He could be in the middle of heated meetings with Queen Helena from the Queendom of Roses in an attempt to strike up a close alliance with Briar Valley, and in come the Royal Hatchlings, as precious as can be, waddling their chubby little legs over to their father with indignant squeaks and cries for attention. Queen Helena feels nothing but sheer maternal instinct upon seeing the veritable rainbow of dragons screaming at their father for attention. Malleus puts the meeting on hold and cuddles the babies until they have their fill and run back to the Human. There is no telling infant Dragons 'no' because they don't care and don't understand anyways.

Petal makes flower crowns for herself and Riddle, so excited to show him she almost trips on her little hooves and almost falls because of how excited she is to give him the gift. Riddle cries. He flat out sobs in joy at the little gift Petal has made for him and spends all day playing games with her and nearly having a heart-attack when Trey shows up to teach Petal how to swim. He is the definition of a stressed father and will pace the bank of the lake while squealing at Trey to be careful with Petal.

The Human is both mother and father to Grim, so he will be spending the day with the Human and cuddling them happily. He adores the Human no matter what. If anyone questions Grim as to why he insists on Mother's day and Father's day being spent with The Human, Grim will scream that the Human is his Mother AND Father. he just wants to be around the Human he sees as his parent.

Malleus, Malefica, and Maleficent view love as possessing something/someone. They are yandere by nature and need to posses those they love because that is their form of love. They need to protect and possess those they love and form Hoards to keep those loved ones safe.

The Human feels genuine love- platonic for their hatchlings- and is overwhelmed by this love when they are finally able to hold the eggs. Such an overwhelming outpouring of love makes the Royal Clutch practically burst from their eggs when they are finally held against the skin of their Human parent. Mallechite is first and as the Human cuddles his egg, he is desperate to get out of his protective shell and be held by the Human that adores him. He will hatch with a shrieking wail and immediately attempt to give his Human parent as many kisses as possible, waving his little chubby limbs and squealing for more love. After that, all the Human needs to do is hold the eggs, and the others are bursting forth to join their eldest sibling in forming a cuddle pile on their exhausted Human parent.

The Dragons are STUNNED by this, having never seen any hatchling take less than five years to incubate, let alone under an hour after their eggs are lain. This instantaneous incubation throws everyone for a loop and suddenly Lilia- a known foster father for almost all young- is up to his pointed ears in squirming, slightly goopy, squealing Hatchlings. Maleficent and Malefica are FURIOUS the Hatchlings only want to be held by Malleus, the Human, and- surprisingly- Lilia. Luckily, the two older Dragons are fire proof and will still cuddle those squirming infants that squeal and screech for their Human parent. The Human has promptly passed out from over exertion after the Royal Clutch hatches. They did just push out eight decently sized eggs and pour their heart into these eggs to make them hatch. They are tired and the infants are fussy.

The second the Human passes out is the second the Hatchlings squeal loudly. Grim is quick to step in and try to hush up the Hatchlings. When Grim gets close and hushes them is when Mallechite gets the braincell and gets his siblings in line. Suddenly, the infant Dragons are all crawling towards their parent, squeaking softly and communicating together as Grim helps pile them onto the bed. They all fuss until they are placed onto the unconscious Human to which they settle down and go quiet.

Grim hisses when Malleus, Lilia, Maleficent, or Malefica attempt to touch the Hatchlings, insisting that they need to leave the infants alone. They hatched very suddenly because of how much the Human loves them, that love of the Human keeps them quiet and peaceful. The others trying to hold the infants will only make it worse, so Grim takes being an elder brother very seriously. The Hatchlings see Grim's wings, eyes, and horns (as most Hellcats grow horns) and they immediately claim him as their brother, looking to him for guidance while the Human is out. The Dragons are SALTY that Grim is such a good child wrangler and Lilia is beaming in pride.

Saw the dragon hatchlings again and all I could think about was mc immediately making them hatch:

Mc: *tired after laying eggs* So how long till they hatch tsuno?

Malleus: About 50 years give or take.

Mc: 50?! That's way too long.

Maleficent: Well, they could hatch sooner with enough love. In fact, I hatched Maleficia in 20 years.

Maleficia: Malleus took a few hundred, but he was very fussy and refused to accept anyone's love besides Lillias. *salty dragon noises*

Mc: *looks at the eggs* Love huh? *begins hugging all of the eggs*

Malleus: *smiles* Darling you can't hatch them immedi- *Hears cracking*

Mc: *panics* Ahhh, did I hug them TOO tight?!

Maleficia: No, Oh great seven they're hatching!

Mc: Quick someone get my camera!!

Malleus, Maleficia, and Maleficent: *Distressed and confused dragon noises*

Mc: *Taking multiple pictures as the hatchlings break out of their eggs*

That love driven timer is no joke. Malleus took hundreds of years and refused the love of Malefica and Maleficent, only accepting Lilia's love and magic. So imagine the shock of the Dragons- who are expecting at the least two-three decades- only for the eggs to immediately begin hatching before they can even tell the citizens of Briar Valley that the eight new monarch eggs have been safely delivered. One newly hatched Dragon is a handful, eight is a nightmare. Maleficent and Malefica will want to hold those Hatchlings and both will get fire spat at them by the Hatchlings as a result. Malleus will be having a panic attack at the sudden realization that his children are hatched and all whining loudly to be held, not a braincell among their empty little heads.

Would Malleus’s Grandma and Maleficent also be startled by the Dragon Babies unholy hell screech?

Or would they find it somewhat amusing (Like a tiny gecko screaming)

Personal headcannon, one of them, (Or Lilia) probably calls them Geckos or Little Wyrmlings

Malefica and Maleficent aren't startled, but it does hurt their ears as the babies screech. Maleficent is more amused than Malefica because she knows how infant dragons can be especially when they want their parents. It was something Malleus did quite often when he was little after the Senate kicked Lilia out, he spent nights and days calling for Lilia who he believed to be his father. Eventually, it got to the point Maleficent went out to find Lilia, bringing him back to keep the Hatchling company despite the protests of the Senate. Few were willing to tell The Dragon Matriarch that she couldn't bring others (who were technically part of her hoard, as Lilia was part of Maleanor's Hoard and by extension part of Maleficent's Hoard) into her castle.

Malefica is a bit more stressed by the screams, not as versed in Hatchlings as Maleficent is and more easily stressed by the noises they make when their Human parent is not around. She worries about them and her own maternal instincts get exceedingly upset over their screams. She will insist the Human is present to keep the young calm so she can snuggle her great-grandhatchlings without them screaming and trying to nip her. They aren't harmful to her, very little can harm a Dragon, but she does want them to associate her with their Human parent so she can one day snuggle them without the need for screaming or the Human being present.
