               as much as PAULA wanted to scream out of indignation, that’s just going to be adding to how she’d look so miserable for this night. her date just ran away, slipped into the darkness in a split second because apparently, he’s been seeing someone else whom he luckily bumped into the bar they’re at. after the messy confrontation and coming close to being poured a drink over her head, she could feel a couple of eyes were still fixated on her, so there she is, frozen in her spot at the now empty booth. she tries to fight back the tears the anger has been eliciting — plain anger, because she can’t believe how stupid she’s gotten to not realize it’s been a big joke all this time.

i don’t have info about her ethnicity but her family’s brazilian, she lived in brazil, and from what she spoke in interviews and some stuff she posts on her social media you can tell that heritage is important to her. when people slap on a spanish name and have characters ramble on in spanish it’s just... like it’s so transparent that it’s some lazy ass writing and that they can’t be bothered to even look into what sets brazil apart from most of latin america. really fuckin irks me. like i know that nationality doesn’t really matter when casting a character but it’s not.... a coincidence camila characters always end up hispanic lmao
