I think that's why I like reading past arcs better than current. Less anxiety about where the chips are going to fall.

Yeah seriously.  I got into Marvel stuff right before Fraction’s Hawkeye started, and Captain Marvel, and a bunch of other titles I really enjoyed were going on like “Captain America and . . . “ so I was always so excited to see what was coming next.

I’m having a hard time accepting that it’s not 2012 anymore.  It sucks feeling actual dismay about what’s coming rather than anticipation.

Thankssss.  It's not too bad, it's just crunchy enough to maybe prevent me from getting on a surf board, which would be annoying, but not the end of the world.

Man, Oahu is so awesome.  I know most people prefer Maui or Kauai because they're less commercial and more wild or whatever, which does sound pretty amazing actually, but I've been going to Oahu my whole life and it feels like home to me almost as much as my actual home town.  There'll be about 15 members of my family there too, and I like . . . several of them.  :)

Yep. I think my saving grace is that I don't care if people think stuff I like is flawed and tell me about it. I probably already judged those flaws anyway, so. :P

The thing that always happens to me is I get really excited about indie stuff and I try to share my excitement with my friends and they're just like "I tried to watch it but it was so boring" or they say something about "not liking art house films" but for me those are just the things I think are really great and it's really depressing hearing that over and over when you're passionate about something.

Orphan Black? I want to try that, but I I'm terrible at face recognition and think that be a necessary skill for that show. :P I get you, though. I'm picky too. Or actually, I watch total crap, then judge it. Hahah.

Ha, yeah, same.  It's gotten to the point with my friends where I don't recommend things and I just lie about what I thought about certain movies or shows because I'm a massive angry snob and everyone's happier this way.

Is that that post zombie apocalypse recovery one? I thought it was pretty good.

Yeah, and I reallllllllly want to like it so I'm afraid to watch it because I'm super picky about television.  I watched that one show . . . crap, what's it called, with the clones and Tatiana Maslany?  And I just hated it. (I'm sorry, I know I have followers who like it, sorry sorry, but it just wasn't for me.)  Idk, BBC stuff rubs me the wrong way more often than not.
