CMU ERPsim competition becoming more social

At this years ERPsim competition at CMU, I was with a group of students live-tweeting the event. A lot of you have seen some of my posts about it and how it effected me personally. This post, however, will be about the competition itself becoming more social, in person and online. Twitter was an excellent resource to becoming a social organization. Mass audiences are reached in seconds. The possibility of someone seeing a tweet is very high, especially if you are tagging and hast tagging (#). With mass audiences reached, more and more people are interacting with each other and not just the businesses reaching out to its' audiences. Mass collaboration is the key to having the social organization that the ERPsim competition wants to be. Having people outside the event, communicating and interacting about the event. Making it known, popular, successful, and fun. Right now the competition is in the guiding phase, because it was last week and they have 51 weeks until it happens again. With successful intelligence and feedback, the #cmuERPsim competition will be back next year with more fun times.
