It had been a long day. Kel was still distracted by his ex-wife’s sudden appearance, and it made for poor work quality. It didn’t help that Abigail was bouncing off the walls from being cooped up inside without school to use her energy. He still hadn’t had time to unpack everything, and responsibilities were piling up. With Ella down for a nap, even Abigail knew better than to bother him and Kel stepped outside to breathe for a moment. He was sitting on the front steps when he felt curious eyes on him. “I’m hiding from my house.” He muttered.

Sorry I've been quiet all day, early this morning my internet provider cut off our wifi and it fucked up our router, so I didn't have internet for almost the whole day. I forgot to make a post about it but I've had it back for an hour now so hopefully it won't cut out again!
