The lovely thing about all Ann pieces is that they're incredibly transformable. See this Ann Demeulemeester white waistcoat or bib with open laced back — spring 2003 Worn open on the runway, with necklaces, ribbons and ties pulled through the belt loops (which look like mock breastpockets by the way) the most iconic version was the black leather one with barbed wire as back straps. However when worn closed up, it gives us a more tailored look with incredible #haiderackermann vibes. Or Ann 2013 instead of 2003. Belgian designers, always relevant, always up-to-date.
