the inarizaki boys team movie nights

honestly its a lot of organised chaos with this team, mom and dad Shinsuke and Ojiro are exhausted by the end of it and probably missed half the movie. Ojiro hates missing out on what's happening and has to go watch it again by himself later. Shinsuke only watches movies with the team and doesn't really care, its more about being together and spending time with them. even if he needs a nap afterwards. Suna will not let anyone else pick the movie. period. its his choice or the highway. unless Shinsuke picks. then its Shinsuke's way. Suna happens to have good taste in media and usually doesn't let the team down. its a surprise what kind of genre they'll get each time. he has a knack for picking an appropriate theme for whatever is happening in their lives at the time. Osamu accuses him of being sentimental. he denies it. the twins are fighting. Ginjima's in the kitchen trying to make snacks. no one is surprised when they come out burnt, soggy or over seasoned. Osamu has to go remake them. he doesn't understand how Ginjima can fuck up popcorn. every time. Ginjima doesnt either. he gets dejected for a while but his teammates are there to cheer him back up. they let him have the second best seat. Atsumu has stolen the best one. the twins are fighting again. Atsumu is one of the best people to watch movies with. his enthusiasm and appropriately timed remarks make the whole experience that much better. he could make a bad movie decent. he knows lots of fun facts. most of them are incorrect. Osamu is happy to point that out for him. they are fighting. Suna is silently pulling out his phone to record them for his fan blog and Ginjima is egging them on. Shinsuke banishes them all to the corners of the room for time out. Osamu of course has premade onigiri for when they run out of snacks. he gets hungry. he likes it when people eat his food. Osamu hates when people Atsumu talk over movies and he refuses to watch anything they've already seen before. even if he doesn't remember what happened in it. he threatens to leave at least once every movie night. he always stays. Akagi is Switzerland. he doesn't take sides in any miya squabbles and his calm personality brings the team back to an even keel when tempers are hot. he doesn't particularly like movies. but he'll sit there on his phone and just vibe with them all as they watch. Ojiro has given up at being able to watch the movie at this point and is messaging with Akagi throughout it all. Akagi also knows lots of fun facts. all of them are correct.

as individuals they all clash and from an outside perspective you would think they weren't on the same team at all. but somehow, somehow they make it work. movie nights aren't that common for them. Atsumu and Suna are usually the ones to organise it. they enjoy them when it happens and everyone makes sure they are available when they do.
