In which Hailey talks about StarKid
Okay, so I know I'm just feeding in to her sick narcissistic need for drama and Stuff, but I just feel personally insulted by everything that girl who answered the anon stuff about how the StarKid fandom "Grosses her out". Excuse me? I love a team of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. I am sorry if that is disgusting to you, but they changed my life. Back in early august I had no Idea who they were, and now I'm totally immersed in this amazing fandom. I have met my bestfriends through them. People who have been with me through all of the bad and all of the good of the past few months. I owe the little bit of sanity I posses to those people. They make me feel better when I am sad, and they make me laugh all the time. The cuddle puddle crew, our silly name. It started with a synchtube, and ended in a bunch of lifelong friendships, and people I will never forget. Those gals (and the two guys) Mean the world to me. They've stuck with me all the time. I love them like a silly dysfunctional family. If that makes me strange, or a freak, or whatever then so be it. Because I'd never give them up for anything.
The actual StarKid group: My heros. They've changed my life for the better. They helped me believe in myself when I thought I never would. They showed me that it is okay to be a loser, a nerd, I don't have to be one of the cool kids. I don't need to listen to what others say about how I look because I am the coolest girl. So insult me, insult whatever you want, but do not insult anything they have created, including the fandom.
To call all fangirls over weight and ugly is just plain asinine. Some people have really bad self esteem issues, and you being a drama whore doesn't help. So kindly stop being a huge jerk and grow a pair. I know this kind of response is exactly what she wants, but I frankly don't care. StarKid and the StarKid fandom mean the world too me, and I'll not have people insulting it.
