Summary - It had been years since heād heard that voice. At least not through a recording of a dated voicemail message that he refused to delete. But that voice sounded like the one who haunted all his nightmares and whispered to him in his dreams.
It sounded like Hailey.
It sounded like Hailey in trouble.
He broke into a run, he was unarmed and knew nothing of what he was running into but if there was even the slightest possibility that Hailey - his Hailey - was in distress, he had to get to her.
