coz theres the least amount of months, then days, then years is the most. And also you know, no one says “the thirteenth of december” any more, bc December 13th (apologies if it sounds snotty, I didnt mean it to! :( )

it doesn't sound snotty, don't worry about it bud! i kind of see where you're coming from with the sorting it by least to most thing, but surely then years should be first? since there's one of those a year? if it were based on how many there are ever then there would still be more days and more months than there are years, you know?

also, people i know say 13th of december etc etc! i think you guys saying it as december 13th is probably a learned behaviour based on how you read and write it, same way us saying it the long way is :+)
