Phoenix Portrait W.I.P.
So as part of my fur/hair studies I have been working on a detailed pen drawing of Phoenix, it has taken a while to get on with it as I have been planning how to do her fur/hair. In the sketches below I was looking at how her hair would layer and overlap but also tone and texture.
Phoenix has also had some small changed to her look. I have shortened her muzzle just because it looks better attached to her neck. Phoenix’s blaze is shorter and broken, starting for her nose now. She has more realistic ears and her hair will turn grey more gradually from her white face :D
