I saved 3 bumblebees today and loved every second they spent with me.

They we’re resting on the steps of my apartment building, a dangerous place, but I was happy to find them unharmed when I came back with a cloth dipped in honeywater. First one was kinda alright, it started to buzz like crazy and tried to sting me while it drank the liquid, flew away after a few seconds. The other two we’re in worse shape, they couldn’t even crawl on the cloth, they just rolled around and tried to drink air since they smelled the honey. Those two I took on my palm and placed the cloth directly in front of them. They calmed down and sat there drinking, after which they sought a warm spot on my hand and started to heat themselves with their wings. When they were able to walk around looking good, I led them to a flower bench where they started to tank up immediately.

The habit of naming things

Does anyone else do it?

My laptop is Gabriel, camera Uriel and the kinda new phone is Belial. My old phone was probably Rafael. I’ve done this for over six years, Gabriel being the first one to have an official name.

Since everything is shit I decided to write down things that make my life seem more non-shitty

♥ Saimaa ringed seal had a really good start for the year, it seems like none of the baby-seals died during their first and most critical weeks

♥ I have tons of plants growing and they look and smell nice

♥ Good coffee

♥ A new  super pretty mug

♥ I am in love and they love me back

♥ Downton Abbey is great

♥ Games aren’t that expensive when you think about the happy effect they have

♥ Easter things in the supermarket

♥ Birds outside, lots of them, singing!

♥ I’ve managed to draw for the first time in ages – and it turned out good

♥  Summer is coming despite the awful spring weather

♥ My dog Mello has started to sleep on the bed/couch and even comes to nest on my lap like a baby even though she didn’t do such things as a puppy

♥ There is a whole watermelon in my fridge waiting to be eaten

My partner fell asleep on the bed while watching Quack Pack

Now my dog is confused about the cartoon

She probably thinks the noise should stop if the human stops

Kurja elää tietäen mitä se olisi voinut olla. Tämä tarina ei ollut sellainen. Ehkä siksi luovun siitä niin kivuttomasti. Hetkiä sohvalla toisiimme kietoutuneina? Keskikesän yön hymyjä asfaltilla loikkiessa? Tunteita onnellisuudesta käsikädessä lattialla loikoillessa? Yhteenkuuluvuutta kaikessa rumassa erilaisuudessamme? Olisiko meidän tarinamme kuitenkaan ollut sellainen? Joka tapauksessa: se juna meni jo. Vaikka kuinka juoksinkin. Luulin jopa ehtineeni kyytiin. Se meni jo. En saavuttanut sitä kuitenkaan.
