I know he was just trying to make a point, but the more of this assignment I get done and the less stressed I get, the more offensive that comment sounds. And it wasn't even that he got your gender wrong (he doesn't know better, I kind of forgive him for that even though it confused the hell out of me the first time I read it) it was that he made assumptions about my lifestyle, and inappropriate ones at that. Yeah, I'm a sexual guy, sure. Maybe I'm not subtle about it, okay. But don't go off thinking I go around having sex all day long instead of trying to do homework you know, considering I haven't had sex before.
And it's definitely not okay for him to make that assumption about my partner.
