Where is Black Stone(Hajar-e-Aswad) Situated in Kaaba
Inside the Kabah, there is a black sacred stone that is kissed by the pilgrims who go on the Hajj and Umrah. This rock is about 7 inches wide. If you look closely, then you find, it is divided into 12 small pieces that have been reinforced with some kind of glue.

Understandably, it could have broken into pieces which were later found. At the season of first development heavenly Kabah, this stone (Hajr-e-Aswad) was available there. In year 606 when the holy prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was 50 years of age, the working of Kabah was damaged by the flood and Quraish constructed it again. When the walls were raised till the footprint of Hazrat Adam (A.S) the issue of placing the stone was there and quarrel between tribes began. Every tribe wanted to have the pleasure of putting this stone (Hajr-e-Aswad).
The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) solved this problem and kept it. The Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) realized the answer to this problem. He (PBUH) put this stone in a cloth sheet. On this occasion, he (Peace Be Upon Him) said to tribal leaders, to lift its fabric from the corners. When the sheet was raised to the height where the stone should be placed, the black stone (Hajr-e-Aswad) had to be fixed in the wall of the Holy Kaaba with his hands.
