Some quick Thasmin headcanons about the Theoretical Ten Years™:

13 would occasionally drop Yaz off at home to spend time with her family.

Sometimes 13 would join Yaz on these occasions, but ofc never when Umbreen was around.

Everyone in Yaz's family could tell there was something between them, although it took Hakim a bit longer to notice than it took Najia and Sonia.

Whenever either 13 or Yaz would tell a story about their travels, everyone else would notice how the other would look at the one telling the story, seeing that unique look of love and sadness that played across her face.

Did I just spend a RIDICULOUS amount of time figuring out the layout of the Khan flat bc I had trouble visualizing anything other that the kitchen/living room while reading fanfiction?

Yes. Yes I did. Let's get into it.

Okay first of all, the actual Park Hill building is pretty cool looking. Not only did I look at the clips from the episodes we are in the flat, I looked up the actual complex itself, and the Khan flat actually fits in pretty well(though not prefectly). I also found out that most of the flats are over two floors, which surprised me as I always assumed it was just over one floor.

Now as we don't see much more that the kitchen/living room in the show, I took the liberty and came up with two different possible floorplans, taking (minimal) inspiration from what I found out on the interwebs. (Excuse my terrible post it art)

Option one, 1 floor:

(my biggest issue with this is that two of the bedrooms will only have windows facing the hallway)

Option two, 2 floors:

Non of these are perfect ofc, but if you are ever struggling to visualize or even write the layout here are some examples at least😊

Is it just me that wants to see Najia and Hakim’s reactions when Yaz goes home next. Najia will go all protective!mum and Hakim will want to know all the juicy conspiracy details. What’ll Sonya think?? Imagine Ryan’s mates all clapping him on the back and demanding to know all the juicy details because it was lowkey cool. I know we won’t get to see any of that but dammit I’ll imagine it all in my head anyway

Thasmin prompt: Thirteen and the doctor finally give up to their feelings for one another after having gone on an adventure with the team and Najia to prove that the Doctor is not a bad influence on Yaz and Najia and the team walk in on the doc and Yaz making out for the first time after having gone to a romantic ball/dance and leaving the others there for a moment. More fluff than smut
