2, 18, 24, 28 ! and fgdjhfgh also i look forward to seeing what you're working on :o ! ~ haknew
ahhhh hi jess!!! 💖 i’m excited to post the edit but i’m far from done 😭
2. i do actually do something creative irl! i’m a communications major and my program allows me to study courses on graphic design but ngl... the courses i took were just a repeat of everything i already knew thanks to tumblr and youtube (also fun fact: i got my highest grade on an nct info ebook SKDJFHF)
18. i have a ton of psds downloaded but i only ever use ones i find from here! on top of that i use levels and hue/saturation the most when i finish everything
24. i rly want to learn illustrator and how to make my own vectors and learn how to use 3d mesh ffff i learned it in class but i didn’t pay attention enough 😭 i also wanna learn after effects so i can try some digital visual effects
28. advice for beginners!!!
- don’t get easily discouraged if your graphic doesn’t turn out the way you want it to!! it can be hard trying to figure out how to translate what’s in your head onto ps, even harder when you don’t even know where to start.
- don’t be afraid to youtube how to do specific things and search around for what other content creators tend to do or use.
- using other people’s edits for reference is totally ok! but remember, it’s for reference and inspiration. by this i mean try to emulate what has already been done and apply it in a way that fits with your graphic
- try out tumblr photoshop tutorials to get the basics down (the basics being: cutting backgrounds from images, typography, the many ways to use textures, arranging your textures and images, etc)
- graphics aren’t something you can master overnight and i don’t even think there’s a level where u can consider someone to be a master at it because there’s always something new to learn (i still have SO much to learn and apply myself) so keep trying, ask around if you need to, and be proud of the things you do finish!!!
