Just finished read Joou No Hana

Uum… So I really love Izumi Kaneyoshi manga. I really do. My faves is Nino hime no monogatari which then led to Joou no Hana. I know from the beginning it is going to be tragic….but…but….it is so tragic I can’t helped it.
Until today, I only have read it’s four volumes (which legally published in my country and somehow became hiatus because of some regulation thingy… probably?). But then I found out that this series already ends a long time ago in Japan on vol. 15. Thus I tried to read some raw manga or atleast summary.
Luckily, there is a nice blogs who does some English translations scripts until chapter 28 (from Chinese raw manga). But the rest wasn’t translated yet. Thus I only try to get some understanding the rest of volume only from it’s picture and my poor Japanese reading proficiency.
Aaand….I feel sad now after I finished it. Super bitter sad ending T.T (I didn’t really get the true story yet though since I saw it from raw manga). But that scene when Hakusei is dead is so….sad and cruel? Hiks Like why AKI always suffer??? Also poor Hakusei. But honestly I am not really paired them together. I just can’t….
But somehow I kinda like prince Kaitan. I like and want him to be with Aki. But started from vol.6 he became quite an as*ho*e. His advices though…somehow always on point (for me at least). Like when he said that (not exact words) “woman’s love is to have a man she loved on her side. But man’s love is to be able to protect his loved one. So when he failed to protect her…he is cannot stand it (kinda became inferior)”. Which I believe is true…….hmmm…but still I am not really sure how is his relationship status with aki. Because in the last chapter..they still meet up, but I didn’t understand for what circumstances. But he is called Sou’s king now. I am not sure Aki is married to anyone in the end. Also whether or not she have any descendants. Ugh so saad….
Hmm..this manga show us a very deep philosophy and injustice part of the world. You’ll learn a lot. Especially for independent woman. This manga is so good.
