“Yeah, I am sure that you’re n-not drunk.” The elder mimicked, though without humour.
Cha Hakyeon was no fan of alcohol. Anyone around him, or even fans were well aware of this fact, and the female in front of him reminded him the exact reason why. People often lose control of themselves when drunk, and especially people like him, who gets intoxicated easily, it was the worst. Of course, he, himself did not know her side of the story. After all, she was a stranger to him, having just bumped into each other in front of the washroom as he attempted to find the exit door of the restaurant. ( It was like a curse, he always lost himself in front of the washrooms rather than finding the doorway out. )
“You should go home,” he advised, turning away to leave. However, he found himself unable to step away from her, spinning back hesitantly instead. How could he possibly leave a drunken girl there? Pressing his lips together unhappily, he tapped her on the shoulder, hoping it’d be enough to gain her attention from her reveries. “If you came here with your friends, I could lead you back to them.”
Anyone who knew Micha personally knew she had the same views as the male's when it came to alcohol, she didn’t like drinking or getting drunk. She did it for the social aspect but very rarely, and on this occasion the doctors in her department were having a small Christmas party before the busy holiday period sets in for the hospital. Micha was small, meaning that one or two glasses could be enough to make the poor girl tipsy but tonight was different. She had only taken a few sips of her wine before feeling like this, maybe it was the alcohol percentage of the wine but either way she wasn’t feeling like she should. She wasn’t even sure how long she’d been in the restroom for before she decided to exit it, but she knew it had been longer than 15 minutes, she wasn’t even sure if her party were still at this restaurant.
“I-I should go home,” she nods in agreement to the male’s words before leaning back against the wall nearest to her. Her eyes were just barely open, this was why she never drunk, she couldn’t handle it. She was short and meek, not a good combination for a girl like Micha who was vulnerable in every sense of the word. “I came here... Wi-with a party of doc-doctors,” her words broken by small hiccups caused by the alcohol. “I’m not-not sure if they’re still he-re,” she points over towards the table where she was sat at previously.
