This seems like a lifetime ago now, in more ways than one. Back when I was young and reckless and didn't care who I hurt. Everything in my life was transient at best.

A lot's happened this year. I've reconnected with the League, old friends...People I wish you could have met. Sometimes I wonder if you knew what I would become if you would have been proud. I know Dad would be, but you, well...Sometimes I think you'd just fuss at me over how dangerous it all was and why couldn't I be something sensible.

On to happier things. Dwelling on the past is a bad habit. I'm engaged now, funny enough to Kyle, the kid who was supposed to be my replacement. He's amazing, Mom. Big hearted and so full of life and love. You'll love him, I know it.
We have to go now. Unfortunately work doesn't stop today because we want it to. I love you, I miss you...I'll see you later.
