"Ruins of White Roses" PARADISE LOST
My first Halcyona war one month ago, with my broken mount :D
I don't get it. Whats up with the vampire and that girl?
Let's see... the girl (Halcyona) is a Eleionomae which is a marsh nymph that "misled travelers with their illusions. The illusions constituted images of a traveler’s loved ones."
So when Nico was still alive he met Halcyona when he was traveling in around I'd say the early to mid 1920's. She appeared to him as someone that he loved dearly but could never have. And basically drove him a bit insane because of the hallucinations she produced for him during the time he was under her spell.
As a vampire he found out her name, which makes her under the control of who ever says it. And that's about the point we are up to in their little mini story.
"Haven't seen you in quite a while little fish. Don't be afraid, its been so long since you lead me astray causing a unchangeable chain of events to occur. But don't be afraid I have you now."
Finally decided what she is, now just have to figure a name out.
Eleionomae
The Eleionomae were marsh nymphs in ancient Greek mythology. Aside from living in marshy environments, the Eleionomae often misled travelers with their illusions. The illusions constituted images of a traveler’s loved ones. These nymphs also lured young, virgin boys and seduced them with their beauty.
