can I ask you what the difference is between a median system and other types of systems? I'm not familiar with the term

okee so a median system is between being a singlet/multiple system. basically median systems are made up of facets which are different parts that make up who you are. its different for different median systems but in most that weve seen (and ourselves), we have our own names/genders/ages/interests that make up the host. facets will become dominant within the host at different times or it just depends on how much the facet appears (i seriosuly cant think of the right word rn sorry) its kinda difficult to explain tbh but theres probably a lot better explanations elsewhere 

now a multiple system is made up of completely separate headmates who can have their own races/names/ages/genders/personalities/interests that are completely different than what a facet would be. 

with this system, we are a mixed system because we have facets but we also have a tulpa/completely separate headmate.
