The way Klaus Mikaelson completely lost his ability to function after Hayley died is one of the most devastating things I’ve ever seen. It wasn’t just a "sad moment" for the plot; it was a total, internal collapse. He had already lost Cami, and he was already at his breaking point, but losing Hayley was like the floor of his entire world just gave way. He literally did not know how to live or breathe without her.
It just goes to show that a relationship between a man and a woman doesn't have to be romantic to be the deepest, truest form of family. Hayley was the mother of his child and his absolute best friend. She was more family to him than people he actually shared blood with. I hate when people blame her for "getting in the way" of Klaus and Elijah, because she didn't create any drama that wasn't already there for a thousand years. Klaus just saw Tatia in that relationship and freaked out because of his own trauma. It wasn't Hayley's fault; she was just an amazing, lovely person who was trying to build a life.
She was such a powerhouse, but she was so lovely too. Seeing the pain of his child having to live without her mother was just awful, and you could tell Klaus would have given up everything the city, the crown, his own life just to spare Hope that vacuum. He was just at a point where he was willing to sacrifice it all for her. He was just floating in the dark the second she left, and watching him try to lead his daughter through a grief he couldn't even handle himself is a level of tragedy I’m never going to recover from. I love Hayley Marshall so much, and I’m definitely going to have to write a fic about her soon.
And so begins...
Wasteland Gospel Vine Compilation.. this took WAY too long to make!!!
so I’m on like episode 9
(some things have come back to me)
my thoughts nobody asked for 🤭:
Every time they called Davina the “most powerful witch” or said she has the strongest power no shade I laughed my ass off cause like, Bonnie Bennett, she is that witch of this universe. And you Davina stans be calm this not a drag. Anyway.
The look on Klaus face when Elijah rolled up to the church and killed agnus and others was sick! one sadistic fuck. Klause be eating that shit up!! Giggling and kicking his feet 💀🤭
When they leaned that hopes blood could make hybrids and how they immediately thought Klaus knew and that was his plan all along pissed me off. Just off his reaction to leaning of the child should’ve told you he had no idea. I could see why Haley thought that but Elijah…come on now.
Also Klaus do be right. You cannot deny that. His approach and execution wrong asf but the mfer be right. You gotta give it to him. (And cami there’s a better that could’ve been handled)
Questions:
are Davina and kol actually a thing?? Or is that just in fics?? Cause I know at one point all the mikelsons come back
Also I was wondering why the plot felt soooo familiar….klonnie fics 🫶🏽
Elijah: “Y/N, why are you here?”
Y/N: “Same reason as you. I’m looking for Klaus. He came here looking for a witch named Jane-Anne Deveraux.”
Elijah: “Well, I haven’t been able to find him.”
Y/N: “Neither have I. Though, once we find Hayley Marshall, we’ll get our answers.”
Elijah: “What does she have to do with this?”
Y/N: *Pained* “She’s pregnant with Klaus’s child, and I want to know why he cheated on me before I shove a dagger through his heart.”
Elijah: “What? Child?”
