Sorry about the small hiatus my lovelies 💕 I’ve been having some medical and mental health issues going on and I’m starting to feel a bit better. It sounds silly, but I have this skin condition called Dyshidrotic eczema. It causes these tiny blisters that eventually merge together to creat one ginormous blister. Also uncontrollable itching. And when the blister heals, it leaves a callous. WEEEELLLLL my anxiety makes me pick and scratch at the callouses so they turn back into blisters and I haven’t been able to sleep and my current anxiety meds (sertaline/Zoloft) is making me have nausea and insomnia to the point where I didn’t sleep for a long time. I know I haven’t been on long enough to post my issues, but I’ve been holding it in for so long and I had been feeling so helpless. But I’m getting treatment and changing my anxiety meds, so all is well. I’ll be back to posting tomorrow morning 💕💕 ily thank you for coming to my little slice of paradise.

I think if the coronavirus has taught me anything, its that Adrian Veidt's plan wouldn't have worked. The whole world has been given a common enemy this year and we haven't united together against the threat. We've just blamed eachother for it and called it a hoax while the rich used it to stoke racism and further exploit their workers.

I feel like if there was an alien invasion, we'd probably blame Russia, or the DPRK, or Jewish people, and the wealthy would be able to hide from the aliens while the poor would be forced to continue going to work. They'd be heralded as "front line workers" but the only respect they would get would be lip service, never seeing any sort of compensation for their sacrifice.

The aliens would be labeled as foreign terrorists and the US would not only let the invasion happen, but use it to promote global imperialism.
