31 for 31 2021 Day 13 Movie: Host(2020) Host was another on of my wife’s picks and it didn’t disappoint. I didn’t like it as much as I liked Deborah Logan, but it was still a good flick! It’s a bit on the shorter side clocking in just under an hour. But the footage was good and the scares were a plenty. Host follows a group of friends that have a zoom meeting during quarantine. The zoom meeting was set up to be a digital seance, but not all the friends take the supernatural world seriously. Short story shorter, antics ensue and a door is opened to the spirit realm. Bad move because they let a malevolent spirit though to our world.
