Language + Culture
Language is like the gateway to culture, so not being fluent in a language is like standing outside a door & eavesdropping on a swanky party Not being taught Urdu/Punjabi/Spanish is the root of a lot of my insecurity, for as long as I can remember Like, it sounds petty, but I'm always going to hold the "English only" thing against my family, because it's kinda fucked me over tbh
