Dying in the bathroom. No big deal.
This Messed Up World
So I want to explain to you stupidity of this world. People go throughout their day on this thing called autopilot. They have these automatic responses for everything they do, and it wouldn't be a problem if the responses were intelligent. Anyway I will occasionally eat lunch by myself, and sit there and watch the mindless human race around me. As they walk around I look at them, and just sit there and wonder what the heck are they thinking. Some of the things that they talk about they have "honest to God" no clue what they are talking about. For instance, I was sitting there eating lunch today, and I begin to watch/listen to these gentlemen have a conversation on the state of the economy. I am not going to go into detail of what they said, but it was just so useless. They acted like they had it all figured out, one said and I quote "If I were president we would be here". I am pretty sure from what I heard in their conversation that these gentlemen did not know where "here" was. Later this women comes up to me while I am working, and begins to complain about how her child was hurt by others in the "play area". My first problem with this situation was the fact that the child was completely fine. There were no tears, there were no cuts or bruises. In fact he was begging his mother to let him go back in, until his mother told him to shut up. I was shocked by the way she proceed to talk to her child who she "cared" about so much. Anyway this women went on for about ten minutes on how we should have people watching the play area, and watching the children, meanwhile I am thinking (oh yeah I forgot that when you come into this restaurant you automatically have no responsibility over your children.) Once her temper tantrum was over I got to move on with my life (let me tell you I was relieved). Later I was cleaning some tables, and one of my co-workers comes up to me and proceeds to tell me that I am doing my job wrong! FIRST OFF I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS POSSIBLE TO CLEAN A TABLE WRONG!!!! At this point I was 9 hours into my shift, and while she was talking all I could do was smile, because in my mind I was imagining 300 different ways to kill her! Anyway, this is my rant on the stupidity of this world!!!!
