They would love to have a cat or dog! Or both! Unfortunately their apartment doesn't allow pets, and they're not in a financial state to be able to take care of one, especially not emergency care. So they live vicariously through other people who DO have dogs~

As for exotic pets, there's none that they can think of that catch their eye at the moment.
