oh god. there’s a reason i’m avoiding the show’s fandom. half of them are ignorant because they haven’t read the book and those who have keep whining about how the show is different.
I really don't know why I bother going into the tag! It's so annoying!! I really just want to shake all the people who are "poor misunderstood Junior is so gorgeous" Noooo he's a psycho! That's it. There's nothing more to him.
I was irritated at all the changes at first but I kind of like where they're going with it all. Plus it's nice to be kept on edge even though I have read the book, you don't know what's coming. I only get frustrated with the show because of the fandom.

Anna is never called anything but Anna on the show, whether by other angels who would presumably know her by another name if she had one, or especially by back-in-time Uriel, who would have never known human Anna and only knew her as an angel.
Yes, but same goes for "Meg" - it's the name of a girl she was possessing when Sam first met her. I guess keeping her(and Anna's) name was for the same reason it's often done in television - "to not confuse the viewers".
