Slight AU or headcanon

The main goal is to separate the Original Lake Cats and the Sun Trail more. Like make it at least 3-4 Stone tellers away.

One- I feel like this makes more sense in story, like in canon the cats that go on the Sun trail are at max 3 generations away from the group that traveled there. (With this headcanon it's very common for Stone Tellers to have longer lives than the other cats due to not putting themselves in harms way hunting)

2- If we go with one of the authors ideas that DoTC happened in like the 1930's it would be hilarious to watch the cats navigate cars and roads with absolutely no understanding of what they are. Im imagining that the OG Lake Cats moved before cars were common enough to warrant roads, so would have at most been used to seeing carriages (Maybe they called them Horse-boxes or something like that)

-it could be used to watch the Sun Trail cats give these new things names on their time as needed.

3- could explain why the lake cats didn't just become kitty pets, they didn't really know that was an option

Then we keep Halfmoon being the one to meet with Grey Wing in a dream. Add more awe to the interaction from Grey Wings perspective.
