Today's June 17th task for #jcfjune is to share a book I #DNF. Apart from two books that I DNFed because of MASSIVE spelling and grammar errors - and that I no longer have in my possession - the only book I've ever actually DNFed is this audio of Half-Resurrection Blues by Daniel José Older. 😕 . . . . I tried listening to this audiobook a year or two ago. I made it past the halfway point before giving up because I was not a fan of Daniel José Older's performance. As the book went on, all of the characters began sounding more and more alike. I couldn't tell who was talking or when they started talking and finally I got so confused that I abandoned this book. 😭 . . . . I DO also own this book in mass market paperback format. Someday I will read it. Hopefully I'll enjoy the story if I read it myself. 😊❤ . . . . Both of the Max photos with this post are older photos of him. The one on the right is from a few days ago. The one on the left is nearly five years old, taken when he was just an itty-bitty baby-baby. 😍❤😍 . . . .
