Laura Jean Forrester win $10,000 purchase prize for her proposal for The Waterside Garden.
A few months ago I applied to this RBC call for submissions and was overwhelmed when I found out I had made the short list of three artists. I did not end up receiving the finial $10,000 commission but I couldn't be happier for the artist who did. Here's to the talented Laura Jean Forester!

What do you get when you mix an amazing artist from Halifax (who is one of the best live performances you will ever see), mix in some of his best music, and make a music video referencing Top Gun, Ghost Busters, E.T., and more?
