The Goddess Hekate was honoured alongside the God Zeus at sites like this one in Halki, Greece.  These stone cut thrones are discussed in my book Circle for Hekate.  The photo was taken in 2019, and shows offering that were left to Hekate & Zeus <3

Throwback Thursday. 1970. An audience with Patriarch Athenegoras. 14 year olds are tough to impress (I met Lew Alcindor, the future Kareem Abdul Jabbar, on the same trip), but it was an experience I’ll always remember.

Sana seslendim antik romadan Birkaç yaz çiçeğiyle... Sonunda buldum seni, Gözlerine baktım sessizlik içindeydin; Geceydin,özlemdin,hüzündün. Ve sisler içinde bir dolunaydın. Bana Halki'yi hatırlattın, çoraktın- Fakat yine de yemyeşildim sen de Aşktım çünkü tatlı sularında; Bilirdim öncesi seni, Henüz karışmamıştın tuzlu sulara, En az Halki kadar cömerttin sen de. Bunun için seslendim antik romadan, Bulabildiğim birkaç kış çiçeğiyle...
