Looking down a Hall by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: Here I decided to desaturated most of the colors, giving a hint of a Black and White photo. I stood to the side of hallway and looked down to a nearby exit.
Walking Around the Stanley Hotel by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: That's what I did this last morning during my stay here. For this image, I tried to capture different points as I just wandered around. For me, this image was the stairwell and the mirrors all around on the wall. I got back as far as I could with my 24-120mm lens and used fill flash from my SB-700. I set the ambient light to capture the exterior in the windows and the flash to brighten up the interior.
Looking Down a Hallway at The Stanley Hotel by Mark Stevens Via Flickr: Having seen the movie running non-stop at the Stanley Hotel, I knew the hallway weren't the same...but I found myself still drawn to capture one here and there while wandering the hallways. For this one, I got down low on the carpet and focused on the mirror off in the distance. I decided to keep as much as I could centered and symmetrical to drawn the viewer down the hallway...
