Ahsoka spent most of her time being the responsible inn owner, helping people settle in to the town or whatever else was needed of her. She buried the itch to explore, to figure out what was going on. That was, until it refused to be buried anymore. Most people in town had never seen this version of Ahsoka Tano, the one who had vexed every Jedi Master who tried to rein her in.
She missed her lightsabers like she was missing limbs, but she knew they were just tools and not entirely necessary. She hadn’t honestly expected to come across anything, despite having been here long enough to know better. The sounds around her had her slowing down her breathing, focusing carefully, a frown creasing her forehead when what she felt was just off.
