@hallesinned / erich. da call.
She has grown used to the lowlands over these last months by the Warden’s side. As terrible as the circumstances were that brought her here, a part of her does so love to see the country, to explore it as she had dreamed of all those years ago in her hold. Erich was not the one she had imagined she would make the long trek to Denerim with -- even the once, let alone as many times as they have! -- but here, now, as they walk side by side at the front of the group, she feels... content. Almost. As content as she can so far from her hold and her family and everyone that she loves, anyway.
Maybe that’s what prompts her to break the easy silence between them now.
‘ I imagine you’ll be lonely. When all of this is done and you’re free of us. ’ Gróa kicks a pebble from the road and watches it go tumbling into the grass before she says any more. She already feels like such a fool for opening her mouth at all... but she feels the end is near. And she likes Erich. ‘ I was thinking I will be quite lonely too. And... And, well, what a shame it would be for two Avvar with nowhere to go to leave each other to such a sad loneliness. ’
There is a question in there somewhere. She cannot ask it.
