The first step is to send the jewels to the Assaying and Hallmark center for the assessment of jewelry.
Before sending the jewelry tp the Hallmark following particulars should be informed:
The description of the jewels and other products
No. of the stones in the jewel in any
The purity of jewels in carats
The overall weight of the consignments
The jeweler should maintain a register of consignments sent to the Hallmark authority. An authorized representative of the jeweler should sign every entry in the register.
Registrar can cancel the hallmark registration after all the corresponding stock items are sold.
