so my supermarket is in the supermarket of the year contest, and now us cashiers are too expensive so we are getting less hours. which means that there will be less cashiers at the same time and we will need people from other departments to help us out because we have this rule that if there's more than 3 people waiting in line you get your groceries for free and when those people help us they won't get their work finished so the store will be a mess and they have to worked after we've closed which is more expensive.
so why don't they just give us cashiers more hours?
