These Halloween Candy Cookie Bars are a delightful treat for the spooky season. Packed with assorted Halloween candies, chocolate chips, and optional nuts, these bars offer a burst of flavors and textures in every bite. Perfect for parties or enjoying with family and friends.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1 large egg. 1 large egg yolk. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1 cup assorted Halloween candy, chopped. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup chopped nuts optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the brown sugar and granulated sugar in a large bowl until everything is well mixed. When you add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract to the sugar, mix it all together until it's smooth. Slowly add the dry flour mixture to the wet ones, stirring only until everything is just combined. Add the chocolate chips, nuts, and chopped Halloween candy if using. And mix it all in. Press the cookie dough into the baking pan so that it's spread out evenly. Before you put it in the oven, heat it up. Bake it for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the middle is set. After taking the cookie bars out of the oven, let them cool all the way down on a wire rack in the pan. Cut the bars into squares or rectangles after they have cooled down. Enjoy these scary Halloween candy cookie bars!
