Day 8~ The grounds of Hall's Croft were beautiful! There was even still remnants of Dr. John Hall's medicinal herb garden that he used to treat patients. Day 8~ Moving on to Hall's Croft, the home belonged to Susanna Hall and her husband Dr. John Hall, Shakespeare's eldest daughter. She later moved to New Place when he passed and left everything to his daughter's. A great deal of the furniture is 16th and 17th century, as well as many of the paintings hanging in the home. I really loved how this was staged to look as if Susanna and her family would be back from town any moment with the tables set and waiting for them to arrive.
