Shimmerdeep City Guard
Captain Daggery
A middle aged halfling who has lead and served in Shimmerdeep’s city guard for well over several decades. Short, stout, and wearing heavy armor far too large for one of his stature, Daggery does not initially make for a formidable figure; but his gruff voice and bristly mustache command authority to those who serve under him.
Constable Coggs
This imposing warforged belays a quieter side due to lacking the ability to speak apart from internal stones that enact as a primitive vocal system, having been made with no mouth. The metal and wooden-casted construct acts as a beat cop around neighborhood blocks, always a fairly welcomed sight by residents for the ensured safety. Coggs is rarely seen without their partner and interpreter by their side, Lieutenant Halmond.
Lieutenant Halmond
Just ‘Hal’ to his friends, this half-elf serves as second in command under Daggery and overlooks many of the operations of the guard the captain is too busy to deal with himself. Having a background in artificing, Hal was well-versed in being able to understand the rocky speech of Coggs, leading the two to be nearly inseparable.
