Another game of Flashpoint this past Friday, 450 points big team battle. Limited respawns are pretty fun! A good compromise between the forgiveness of respawning and the attrition of a traditional wargame.
Brought Noble Team supported by a few ODSTs and they're still very much mortal, but really cool units. Immediately after the game my friend and I were talking about how to use them in future games.
Didn't get many photos of this game as it was a very chatty day.
Painted up Noble Team yesterday! Had a surprisingly hard time finding good reference pics for everyones armour so I took a little creative liberty with some. I think the largest departure is Emile but I like the dark blue look for him.
Opted to paint Noble 6 in more vibrant colours taking inspiration from Wattson Apex Legends.
Played some big team battle today and it was a great time! I do enjoy the arcade feel of the base game but this feels like a step towards a more simulation wargame.
We did mess up some rules, we assumed BTB always used the Downed Model rules: it does not 😅
I think revisiting this mode with limited respawns and no downed models will absolutely improve the flow and really add a feeling of attrition. Excited to play more :)

Was lucky enough to pick up Noble Team from Mantic Games while at Adepticon back in March and I’ve finally completed them. Halo: Reach is one of my absolute favorite games and I really wanted to take the time and do these guys justice (after obsessing over getting all the little details right).

Need to black out the bases and do a matte spray across them, but they are basically done

Flashpoint models, baybee. Super fun game and the models are lovely.
